Tomato Hanger How-to....

This is the finished produckt, and this is how you do it...

plant has already been inserted and hanger filled with dirt

First, take a 3 liter soda bottle, rinse out, and cut a semi circular "door" flap on one side of the bottle, near what will be the top of the hanger, large enough to insert plant and roots through. Feed the plant, GENTLY through the neck until the rootball is all the way down into the neck. I put some paper towel against the stem in the neck to kinda block loose soil from coming out.

holey moley=Fill with soil and then either use a hot thick wire and heat it on the stove to make the holes in the bottle or a soldering iron. I also added some Dr.Earth Fertilizer to the soil mix, you may want to do that.

making it stronger, faster, better! Now, feed some thick twine through the hole and out through the door. Put a washer on it and tie a double knot

TA-DAAA!!Repeat on all the other...whatever the hell you call those bumps on the bottom of the bottle.

TA-DAAA!!You can make your hanger as long as you like. I've made mine about 22" Now you just tie the ends in one big knot, making sure that the hanger is going to be supported evenly by all the ropes.

TA-DAAA!!Place hook where ever it is you want to hang your plant.

TA-DAAA!!

Hang it, Water it and wait for the Tomatoes to arrive.
